Introduction

The Government would embark on an on-going mental health promotion and public education initiative (“Initiative”) with a view to building a mental health-friendly society in the long run. The first phase of the Initiative, is launched in July 2020, aims to sustain the efforts of the Joyful@HK Campaign, and enhance public understanding of mental health. The Mental Health Workplace Charter (“the Charter”) is a part of the Initiative and implemented jointly by the Department of Health, the Labour Department and the Occupational Safety and Health Council.
